Competition Tubular Exhaust Manifolds.

These equal length tubular headers are a huge improvement over the OE units which also include the catalytic converters.  By replacing them with the RDSport units, you will achieve a gain of almost 30 HP.

Unlike other systems on the market, the RDSport CTEMs are the result of many hours of engine dyno tuning and work best when installed with their Engine Management Software.

Metal Matrix Sport Catalytic Converters.

The installation of our Competition Tubular Exhaust Manifolds requires a new set of catalytic converters to replace the OE units that are integrated in the original manifolds.

The RDSport units feature a 100 cell/cm2 metal substrate that is extremely efficient and reduces the emissions to below 1999/94/EG standards.

Supersprint BMW E60 M5 Headers,
these are now currently only being made for Hamann and will be stamped as such. The headers are the same design premise as the BMW E39 M5 headers with individual primaries and spring loaded collectors. These will come with the adapter tubes to use with the OE catalysts. The testing done by Hamann shows a gain of ~90hp when using the full exhaust system along with their software.

Supersprint High Flow Race Cats
High horsepower performance applications require the durability and free flow characteristics of metallic racing catalytic converters. Turning up the power or using you car on the track will quickly melt down and damage your O.E. ceramic catalytic converter. Each racing converter is manufactured to racing specifications utilizing a high heat resistant metallic core. The reduced cell count from the O.E. 400 C.P.S.I. to a high flow 200 C.P.S.I. makes the Supersprint racing converters the most free flowing on the market today. All components are 100% stainless steel, and all tubing is mandrel bent to assure you the highest flow volume.

The scavenging effect generated by our X-Flow downpipe gives noticeable improvements in torque in the 3500-4500 RPM range. Constructed entirely of 304 Stainless steel, the unit replace the stock downpipe and is 5mm larger than the stock unit to improve flow.  It maintains the same exit flanges and features a slip-on front mounting.

RDSport Rear Muffler with Quad Tips.

The components of the exhaust that gratify you the most are the rear silencers.  These stainless steel units deliver a distinctively low growl, improve top end performance, and the quad 85x90 tips look really menacing.

The pipe diameter is increased to 75mm, matching the X-Flow Downpipe diameter, thus reducing backpressure and increasing throttle response.  (A reduction sleeve is included if you opt to mount our silencers on the stock downpipe, but this solution is not recommended).

The tips are chromed stainless steel and feature the RDSport logos in chrome with the RD Blue background.

Kreis-sieg Cat-Back Exhaust System. 100% stainless steel construction, connects directly to the secondary catalytic converters.

The system replaces both the stock exhaust mufflers and stock resonators Kreis-sieg's F1 Race exhaust system is a unique design that delivers performance and sound on demand. Unlike any other exhaust, this system allows the driver complete control over the exhaust's performance and sound attributes. With each Type F1 Race design, two exhaust gas paths are configured.

• Normal Mode: This path is a traditional path that takes the exhaust gases through the catalytic converters and muffler chamber before it exits at the rear tips.
• F1 Mode: This path bypasses the muffler chamber, thus taking the exhaust gases straight from the X-pipe to its exit at the rear tips. F1 Mode produces the greatest possible horsepower gain with a true F1 race-style sound.

Strategic placement of butterfly valves in the system allows for instantaneous control between Normal and F1 modes. A switch placed within the cabin controls the valves. With a simple flip of the switch, the driver selects between Normal and F1 modes.

Front Spoiler.

The RDSport Front Spoiler is designed to increase front-end downforce, reduce overall drag by covering the front tires, and to improve heat dissipation through its functional side vents.

RS Kit

RS Kit (Airfoil and Brake Ducts).

For customers who are planning on using their M5 at the track, RDSport has designed an airfoil that is designed to be installed in addition to the front spoiler.  The RS Kit increases downforce by an additional  75 lbs. at 100 Mph.  The supplied brake ducts can be positioned at the outer perimeter of the bumper intake, and can be ducted to provide additional cooling to the front rotors. Available in 3 finishes:

Rear Diffuser with integrated Slats.

It is truly amazing to see how such a small and unobtrusive part can improve on the overall aerodynamics of the M5.  The RDSport Rear Diffuser features 2 large side slats and 3 small center slats that clean up the turbulence of the air stream that hits the undercarriage.

The Rear Diffuser is made of kevlar/carbon mat, and it mounts over the lower profile of the stock extractor.
