Well here she is in all her glory. Prior to placing her on the road various task were undertaken which included the applying of “Clear Bra” which Ron took care of and then all of the windows were tinted by Lynn to further accentuate the “Stealthy” nature of the “Beast”

Once this was accomplished the first issue that needed to be addressed was engine breathing and the cooling of the intake charge which is being accomplished through the use of some wonderful Carbon Fiber pieces. The decision as for which intake system to use was an easy one as such the Gruppe M air intake system was selected. Then because we expect her breath a bit better a means to clear out her pipes was the next item on the list. After careful consideration and what some would call “Exhaustive” research we have decided to install the “Kreissieg” system with their Valvetronic's system.

For those that are not aware, this system is very unique and extremely cool. The system allows at the flip of a switch to change the sound of the car from dossal and easily able to traverse through the community in a “Stealth” mode, meaning quiet…..however at the flip of the switch the system will redirect the exhaust and thunderous heart of the “Beast” becomes known to all. In fact some have compared the sound to a fricken F1 traveling at speed whereas others simply say that sound is beyond words….”Simply Incredible”. I can also share that the system is truly a piece of art that could easily reside on one's coffee table from which many a conversation would take place.

Most folks have heard of the process known as “Clear Bra” for vehicles however very few have been given the opportunity to see the difference between “Clear Bra” and what I would refer to as a “Invisible Paint Protect Process”; including myself until now.

More information on Clear Bra

Available now directly from Discovery-Automotive

Here the back side of the gal is being removed in preparation of the new “Kreis-sieg” ValveTronic exhaust system.

One of the OEM mufflers weighs as much as the entire Kreis-sieg system

Here everything has been removed including the cats because there are now to be relocated slightly as a part of the Kreis-sieg exhaust system

Here is the new Stainless Steel manifold on which the cats will mounts thermal wrapped, sealed and ready to go

Here the manifolds are mounted in place

Here the cats have been installed however this time to the Kreis-sieg manifold shown above

Here the new Kreis-sieg Stainless Steel muffler have been installed and the tip and remaining connections are being completed
Here the hardware is in place….. final alignment and securing to be completed and then the vacuum lines will be run to the Kreis-sieg Valvetronics system as seen in the photos…… VERY CLOSE

We are a full line Kreis-sieg distributor, for more information on Kreis-sieg exhaust systems please visit HERE
Here is a piggy backed fuse holder that was assembled and now retains the OEM 15 amp fuse at the original location and a 5 amp fuse for the Kreis-sieg Valvetronic switching system. At the end is a Deutsch connector that will integrate into the switch.

Here is the OEM center console pocket with the Kreis-sieg Valvetronic control switch in place with a Deutsch connect used for ease of future service and access through this pocket

Here the OEM center console pocket has been reinstalled and plugged in ready for use

Here is the car with the Kreis-sieg exhaust completely installed along with the rear bumper reinforcement and frame members back in place. The OEM exhaust vacuum switch, vacuum lines, etc. were all able to be successfully integrated into the Kreis-sieg exhaust system.  The original two wire harness and plug that went to the switch was simply removed and tucked into the cavity behind the left tail lamp and then a new two wire harness was assembled and then into the cab of the car. All OEM style plug ends were used during this process.

The results are a system that appears to be OEM by design and because of the manner that the new systems were put in place. The next step will be to install the rear bumper cover and exercise her. I can tell that the sound clips that we heard prior to installing the system “DO NOT” do it justice. Yes, she sounds OEM like in normal mode which is a great feature……. However; just about as fast as you can flip the switch …….the fricken “BEAST” comes to life……… and surrounds you with such sweet…. sweet music……

Here is a picture of the Stainless Steel exhaust heat shield in place. All that remains is to reinstall the OEM engine bay trim panel along with the louvered panel that will ultimately cover this area
The OEM heat shields back in place

Here the new heat shield material is being applied to inner surface of the rear bumper. Even though the thermal readings we measured are very low the recommendation from Kreis-sieg is for it to be installed in conjunction to the stainless steel heat shield that wraps the a great portion of the muffler. This material is furnished with the exhaust system.
