UPDATE:July 16, 2005 Here the gal is slowly and methodically being disassembled and being readied for the modifications she will soon be receiving. For the most part everything is looking good albeit a bit worn around the edges. For example the clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel are..."TOAST" The rear main seal was leaking fairly good, and there is a large amount of build up at the base of the valves so the fact that her heart was pulled is a good thing.

UPDATE: July 19, 2005 All of the gal's limbs are being removed as we get closer to opening her chest. Once this phase has been completed the extreme attention to detail and careful massaging begins as the reassembly process will then be mapped out based on the desired final outcome of this project. The basic premise remains, extreme "POWER" able to be adapted to operate efficiently and consistently within one of the most severe of environments on the globe.

UPDATE:July 21, 2005 The processes of inspection, cleaning, and tear down methodically moves forward. The heads are about ready to be reconditioned, and the final decision regarding the pistons and rods is soon to be made. The OEM oil pump will be removed in favor of a Club Sport version so some minor machining of the case will be required.
